2009...a fond farwell

Ok, finishing up the year 2009 five months later.

In November we took our annual trip to Apple Hill with Stephanie and Aaron for some much needed apple cider, apple pie, apple turnovers, apple donuts, apple fritters, apple sausage, apple cake, apple juice, apple scented soap and apples. This also kicked of the November-January eating festival that happens every year. We start with apples, move over to turkey for Thanksgiving (with my family this year) continue with a Christmas feast and end at new years.

In December we did the party circuit with parties at my work, B's work, our bible study group and a friend group. We also celebrated Christmas this year in Arizona where the temperature was in the low 60's, very nice. All in all 2009 was a fun year, we hiked, biked, traveled, worked, fellowshiped and had a great time doing it all. 2010 brought some big changes, exciting ones and it's not even half over!

We are excited to start to festival of eating!

B picks out the perfect apple.

Yes, that is a regular sized pallet, and a huge pumpkin.

All eyes on Crazy Mike to get the party started.

The Matoba's know the way to wish me a merry Christmas.

B entertains with a story.

Little Emily all jacked up on sugar.

New party, just as much food!

The gag gifts all wrapped nicely.

I scored! This thing broke about 2 minutes after this picture.

Marius is now officially a part of team "Edward".

Scott looks thrilled with his gift.
